The scientific name is Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil. Rich in palmitoleic acid, vitamin E, carotenoids, omega-7; promotes epithelial regeneration. This mechanism is consistent across properly formulated products, which means the real variable is concentration and delivery system.

Typical working concentration is 0.1–5% (diluted — very orange!). Best suited to dry, mature, damaged skin. Primary applications: rich antioxidants, healing, anti-aging, hyperpigmentation.

Works well with: Vitamin E, rosehip oil. Avoid combining with: Use diluted — intensely orange pigment can stain.

Highest known plant source of vitamin C; also contains rare palmitoleic acid (omega-7).
